(China wins the series 3 games to 1) Before 10,000 fans in Workers Stadium, China dashed any hopes the XNBA had of tying the series. The XNBA team was hobbled by injuries to Kiki Vandeweghe and Tom Chambers, who did not play, and Frank Brickowski, Lazarus Sims and Alton Lister all fouled out. At one point, Coach Oscar Robertson pulled his team off the floor after both referees missed a blatant foul in front of the XNBA bench. Top scorer for China was Wang Zhizhi, who in the summer of 1999 became the first Chinese player ever drafted by the NBA. He was a second-round selection of the Dallas Mavericks. Note: Box scores of games 3 and 4 were not available.
