Arnette, Bellamy, Boozer, Dischinger, Imhoff, Lucas, Robertson, Smith and West went on to play in the NBA (Arnette, Boozer, Lucas, Robertson and Smith all with the Cincinnati Royals in 1964), and Coach Pete Newell went on to become an NBA general manager. Robertson, Bellamy, Dischinger and Lucas were NBA Rookies of the Year consecutively in 1961-64. Four players -Bellamy, Lucas, West and Robertson -- are in the Hall of Fame as individuals, as is Coach Pete Newell and manager Dutch Lonborg.
