And, when there's breaking news concerning pro basketball, you'll often hear The Big O on national and local sports talk shows.

"Inside The NBA," TNT Sports, January 17-18, 2000. Oscar Robertson appears as a panelist with Wayne Embry, Bill Russell and John Thompson discussing the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

"Greatest Athletes of the 20th Century," presented by Sports Illustrated on CBS, December 2, 1999. Oscar Robertson is honored along with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Larry Bird, Wilt Chamberlain, Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan and Bill Russell in the basketball category.
